Vice President, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at SoFi

SoFi is hiring a dynamic and experienced VP, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships to play a critical role in creating and leading partnerships to enhance the experience for our members.

This role will drive differentiation of SoFi from other financial institutions and is a key part of broader efforts to help our members achieve success with their money, career and relationships.

Identify, creatively structure, negotiate, and execute complex strategic partnerships with a wide array of partners across industry verticals.
Set strategy and vision for new areas of opportunity.
Build, manage and grow relationships with our most important partners.
Work closely with marketing, product, engineering, operations, and business teams to identify impactful opportunities and drive partnerships to execution.
Create new, scalable partnership programs.
Represent partners internally and SoFi externally with partners’ management teams and at industry events.
Manage and Recruit world-class team members.
Develop and manage new channels of revenue for SoFi products.
Experience and Skills

10+ years of demonstrated success in business development that resulted in user and revenue growth via partnerships.
7+ years Management experience
Highly analytical, strategic thinker and data driven, but also a creative problem solver and innovator - you will be building new business models and first of it’s kind partnership structures.
Ownership and management of a revenue or metric driven goal and team.
Motivated, self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple deliverables.
Ability to make thoughtful, actionable recommendations under minimal structure, and quickly build consensus with senior level internal and external stakeholders.
Collegial, high energy, and persistent personality, with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree
MBA or other Master’s degree a plus but not required
