Career Coach – Member Benefits [Contractor] at SoFi

We are looking for a Career Coach (Contract) for our Member Benefits team who will work directly with SoFi members by providing complimentary career coaching solutions. You will help execute creative, scalable career coaching services and resources ranging from 1:1 to group coaching across different platforms.

By joining SoFi, you're joining a new kind of finance company based around speed, transparency, and alignment with our members’ interests. Our goal is to be the center of our members’ financial lives. We created student loan refinancing, addressing this generation's biggest financial challenge with a new approach to lending. We expanded into other types of loans, and then into insurance and wealth management with similarly inventive products. As the company has grown, we’ve been able to help more people with these tools.

SoFi has achieved significant growth, with big plans ahead. In just the last year, we've more than doubled our member base (300,000 strong), doubled loan volume ($8 billion in 2016), and grown our team from under 200 people to more than 1,200. We're preparing to go global, with expansion to Australia and Canada planned this year. And we're well capitalized to power all this growth, having raised $1.9 billion in equity backing. But we'll only be able to continue this growth with great talent, and that includes you.


Execute creative, scalable career coaching solutions for SoFi members.
Examples include participating in and leading career-focused livestreams to utilizing innovative online platforms to deliver value to members.
Deliver 1:1 and group coaching to members across various formats (e.g., large and small group coaching).
Conduct presentations, workshops, and launch innovative, scalable tools to benefit members.
Results-oriented execution focused on volume and high satisfaction – which ultimately result in helping our SoFi members achieve their career goals faster.
Contribute career-related content to blogs, social media posts, and special SoFi marketing initiatives as needed.


Bachelor’s degree & 8+ years of experience architecting and designing scalable career coaching solutions and tools that help diverse audiences achieve a specific objective. Experience in digital platforms a plus.
Deep experience as an effective, results-oriented team player. Experience with scaled outreach, programs, and innovative solutions to complex problems.
