Description
The position provides HR support to our Engineering Organization for the Salt Lake City, Utah location. This position will also provide outstanding service to employees by building strong, collaborative relationships. This is a hands-on, solution-oriented role.

Functional HR Competencies Required:

Technical knowledge of Human Resources specialties including: federal/state employment law, employee relations, organizational development, training, benefits and compensation, and payroll.

Provide employee relations support for managers and employees and respond to employee relations issues such as employee complaints.

Assures manager and employees have a basic understanding of company policies and basic supervisory practices.

Ensure successful on-boarding new employees which includes conducting on-boarding sessions to new hires to ensure a successful integration.

Responsible to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee status changes and other necessary documents and actions as part of employee lifecycle.

Advises on termination decisions to ensure appropriate processes are followed, and to minimize risk.

Review and coordinate job accommodation processes and ensure alignment with ADA, state and local compliance.

Experience:

BA/BS degree in HR Management, Business, related field or equivalent work experience required

Minimum of 5-7 years of HR Generalist and Business Partner experience

PHR or SHRM-CP preferred

Workday experience preferred
