Director of Business Operations at Stride Health

As our platform expands, we’re looking for a Director of Business Operations to lead financial planning, internal & external business reporting and core operational strategy. You’ll work cross-functionally with each business unit to guide the highest priority investment decisions, establish core business intelligence systems, manage budgeting, and track cross-functional OKR performance. You’ll be responsible for championing and broadcasting our core business performance metrics and being a partner across teams to make sound financial decisions.

You’ll institute infrastructure, discipline, process and rigor in business operations for a rapidly scaling consumer technology company and work closely with our CEO & leadership team.

Your Mission
Budgeting, FP&A: Manage our forecasting across each company performance metric and our core operating model, and equip team leads to set and manage independent budgets,
Performance Metrics & Strategic Planning: Build out our core business intelligence toolkit, including shared marketing analytics and a cross-funcuntial dashboard for key metrics & insights. You’ll brief the management team on financial performance and business KPIs and be a key thought partner in strategic planning.
KPI alignment. Measure, define and drive cross-functional decision making around key KPIs for our business (e.g. multi-product LTV). You’ll define new business health metrics as each product line matures and new products are born.
Build new operational processes. Coordinate across teams to measure the impact and efficiency of new operational processes
Investor & partner reporting. Lead investor reporting & preparation for financial performance in Board Meetings. You’ll also drive key performance reporting to our externa partners.
Evaluate new business opportunities & special projects. Create data-driven frameworks to evaluate revenue opportunities to inform our broader corporate strategy, business units, and product roadmap. Size new markets & expansion opportunities
Lead a team. Lead our existing Business Operations team, recruit, and manage a world class team
Recipe for Success
Operating or FP&A experience in a high growth software startup
5-8 years experience in business operations, management consulting or corporate FP&A
Experience managing a team
Collaborative with experience engaging cross-functionally with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate company-wide operational objectives
Aptitude to think strategically about the company, the industry, and the needs of each team to strengthen our core operational competencies
Excellent analytical skills to break down and solve complex problems
In love with Excel and working knowledge of SQL Energetic, intrinsically-motivated and intellectually fearless

MBA/Advanced Degree
SQL pro
Experience working in a consumer software startup during a key inflection point
Deep knowledge and affinity for the future of work -or- insurance industry experience
