What we’re looking for: 

Singular is looking for a unicorn Sales Engineer to work out of our Seoul, Korea office. Sales Engineers at Singular demo the product, develop sales tools, build sales process, sell solutions, hold trainings, analyze data, code API wrappers, and generate revenue. You will be expected to team up with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Product teams to assist with technical sales activities for new and existing accounts. This position provides career development through daily direct interaction with high profile customers and partners. You are expected to have strong skills relating to internal cross function collaboration and experience in one or many company departments is a plus. You must have sales and business acumen while also being able to get very techincal.

 

What you’ll need:

  • Proven track record of 3 years in a sales engineering capacity
  • Independent, fast learner, and enjoys working in a fast paced, growth environment
  • Highly experienced in building scalable, high-performance systems
  • Hands-on experience in developing end-to-end flows from job processing systems to the frontend products (Python, Celery, AngularJS)
  • Several years of hands-on experience with Python and backend frameworks (Django, Flask, etc)
  • Able to write advanced SQL queries (PostgreSQL and MySQL)
  • Familiarity with ETL structure and database frameworks
  • Experience with Unix and AWS environment – a big plus
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, related field, or degree
  • Desire to build things
  • Passion for solving problems
  • Fluency in English and Korean 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Provide answers to customers regarding technical implementation questions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with marquee accounts
  • Hold demos, webinars, and customer trainings to drive revenue
  • Stay on top of the industry trends and provide thought leadership
  • Work with senior account executives to help them close deals
  • Work with Marketing to develop training material and train local teams
  • Prioritize products or feature requests from customers and deliver to Product
