QA Engineer at Eaze
San Francisco, CA, US
Based in San Francisco, Eaze provides more customers in California with easy, quick and professional access to medical and recreational marijuana than anyone else in the State. We provide a full suite of delivery technology, logistics, training and consulting services to partner with dispensaries to enable their success.

We’re looking for experienced QA Engineers who enjoy helping the developers they work with debug their code, find issues they didn’t think could happen, and point out flaws in designs before the engineers write the code. You’ll be helping manage the process from task creation to shipping so we ensure quality and prevent things from being left behind. We want individuals who like to get to the bottom of bugs and find joy in understanding the complexities of how an entire system architecture works but also care about the end user and the quality of their experience.

The QA Engineer will ensure Eaze software is awesome and of the highest quality. You’ll work directly with engineering project teams and product on multiple in-flight projects to help organize, test, and shepherd projects from start to ship. We’ll own project management of Clubhouse and ensure no ticket, task, feature, or bug is forgotten. Being a QA Engineer at Eaze will give you the chance to create our QA department, implement process, and do things right from the beginning in a healthy organization that values the importance of QA.

Does this sound like you? If so, we’re hiring QA professionals who have the know-how, ask the right questions, and have fun while doing it!

What You’ll Be Doing:

    • Work with engineering and product to triage inbound bug reports. Reproduce reported bugs down to the root cause and provide detailed bug reports for engineers
    • Build product test strategies, write and execute test plans, file bugs, and communicate with the teams about issues, project risks, and product quality
    • Work on iOS, Android, Web, internal and external apps to ensure the quality bar remains high and prevent bugs from shipping
    • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate tasks and testing activities in project management software, Clubhouse (Similar to Trello but more features)
    • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and maintain regression suites using 3rd party tools

What We’re Looking For:

    • 4+ years QA experience
    • You are passionate about the field of Quality Assurance and excited to grow and develop a career in Technology
    • You have a general facility with technology, and you are able to learn new technologies quickly
    • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills are essential
    • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Someone to advocate for quality on behalf of customers and escalate issues that need to be addressed immediately

Bonus Points:

    • QA experience in startup environments
    • Strong interest in mobile web, desktop web, mobile devices and applications
    • Excellent sense of humor and ability to make work fun is a big bonus!
    • Broad knowledge of web browsers, web tools, and network tools
    • Broad knowledge of Android and iOS hardware, software, and tools used to debug them
