Events Marketing Manager at Button

As an Event Marketing Manager you will strategize and execute on events that enable revenue generation and drive overall brand awareness for our products and technologies. As an Events Marketing Manager you will drive revenue and partner with every team at Button to develop a well-rounded, world-class events program - experimenting with creative initiatives and programs while measuring success with data along the way. You must be passionate about event marketing, a self-starter, and have strong interpersonal, project management, and analytical skills.


    • Define and execute Button’s event strategy to drive revenue and brand awareness

    • Lead and manage our largest events and conferences including our annual TAP Conference

    • Own the planning and process for both industry sponsorships, presence, and end-to-end strategy and planning for Button owned events

    • Collaborate with every team at Button to understand their goals and build out events strategies that will support achieving them

    • Develop Button’s brand across the industry; strategize industry and trade audiences where Button should activate its brand

    • Serve as the company-wide Button Events lead - building and maintaining a formal events process to ensure all events are briefed and have measurable goals

    • Build event strategies with our partners to run joint events where we can amplify event presence

    • Exceed targets for influencing new prospect qualification, deal movement, or partner go live

    • Track, report and forecast outcomes from larger events or events series; make recommendations to the team based on past performance

    • Manage all Button branded SWAG and inventory, including the budget


    • 4+ years of relevant event marketing experience that drives revenue for a B2B company within the mobile commerce, ecommerce, advertising or digital marketing industry

    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex and highly visible projects at the leadership level

    • Experience interpreting event marketing data and making business recommendations to drive event performance

    • Action oriented and goal driven: ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    • Experience managing a budget

    • Strong oral and written communication skills with proven ability to influence

    • Ability to travel 5-10 times per year
