About the Role:
Training Specialist is responsible for developing remedial training plans, assisting with scribing on a need basis, and training for medical provider implementations. TS works hand-in-hand with our Documentation Specialist to improve work-flow processes and develop our training programs across all of our partner offices.


  • Guide MDS with real-time performance feedback, grade MDS’s work as per the operational standards, update the relevant stakeholders on the implementation progress .
  • Write constructive and specific feedback to optimize scribe improvement and training.
  • Review and grade documentations produced by scribes to ensure accuracy and abidance to high-quality standards.
  • Conduct weekly feedback sessions/in-person sessions with scribes needing remedial training.
  • Update trackers and forms as per the process guideline
  • Have the foresight to pre-empt issues before they arise.
  • Generate various performance and training reports as required
  • May perform scribing duties up to 20% of the time.


  • Training skills: You conduct regular 1:1 feedback sessions and scribes show improvement under your guidance and instruction. Ability to inspire and motivate your medical documentation specialist.
  • Quality: You have a strong understanding of medical documentation. You can accurately identify and categorize any error made within a medical chart and give detailed written/verbal feedback explaining each deduction.
  • You have 5+ years of working experience(scribe experience) with multiple doctors & specialties following the AX quality standards.
  • Results-driven: You will work in a highly demanding environment. The number of Scribes trained is key to this role, as well as the effectiveness of your work.
