We are looking for a seasoned growth and product leader to drive the overall growth strategy for our community and own critical consumer metrics like MAUs, installs, and retention. There is a lot of opportunity to expand our reach beyond software engineering, the west coast, and into other industries. We have a ton of unique content that can be leveraged to drive organic growth. For our leadership hires, we look for unique individuals who are both strategic and tactical and have demonstrated results across multiple areas and companies. This is a remote position with a Pacific time zone work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategies and plans to drive consumer growth for Blind to ultimately become the world’s largest community of working professionals
  • Generate a wide range of organic growth initiatives to deliver results
  • Lead a cross-functional team and directly manage product & marketing teams
  • Join the leadership team and role model being an empathetic & transparent leader
  • Work closely with the C-team to align on new initiatives and prioritization

Basic qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience with an emphasis on mobile app growth for millions of users. Prior experience with web traffic growth is helpful as well.
  • 3+ years of management experience, building and leading high-performing teams
  • Highly analytical and data-driven leader with a deep understanding of how metrics move
  • Strong generator of ideas that are clever, creative, and practical
  • Ability to discuss high-level strategy and sweat the important details tactically

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with online communities or jobs marketplaces is a plus
  • Some startup experience is preferred

Blind's minimum cash compensation salary range for this role is $200,000.00 - $260,000.00 (if applicable, + commission) per year. This salary range includes compensation for multiple job levels. Your job level will be based on an assessment of your interview performance and experience, which you can always ask about to understand in more detail. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors. Salary is just one component of our total rewards package for employees at Blind.
