Job Summary

• As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you will be an important contributor for the financial operations of our rapidly growing company, including providing accounting shared service to other countries. This position reports to the Country Controller. You will be responsible for ensuring Fixed Assets registration, support Fixed Assets audit and execute record keeping ensuring they are accurately updated and maintained, including Fixed Assets reporting. You must be able to perform daily finance operation task related to Fixed Assets, work closely with operation and should enjoy a fast-paced, start-up environment. The position requires strong accounting knowledge, ability to communicate and execute continuous improvement in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute proper recording of fixed assets, including acquisitions, dispositions, impairments, retirements and depreciation of assets.
• Monitor, check and advise Operation on CIP related project code assignments, account classification and process CIP reporting on timely manner.
• Prepares journal entries and execute the month-end close posting ensuring timely and accurate financial close.
• Monthly reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts vs Sub-ledger and Blackline reporting.
• Execute and ensure compliance per established policies, procedures and SOX compliance.
• Support internal and external auditors request and assist with related audit or reporting deliverables.
• Support Operation on Fixed Assets related procedure and CIP budget and tracking related queries.
• Support reporting compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP or MFRS) and local reporting regulations including FA analysis and reporting for Tax submission.
• Ability to efficiently work toward and consistently meet deadlines.
• Perform special projects, other ad-hoc duties, as needed.
• Participate in system enhancements and upgrades in collaboration with financial systems team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
• 2+ years related accounting experiences (FA, AP or GL).
• Knowledge in International Accounting Standard, Internal controls and/or SOX compliance.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem solver, adaptive to fast-paced environment
• Good written, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional team and willing to support US time zone.
• Experience in accounting software and/or ERP system (Microsoft D365, SAP, Blackline etc).
• Skills in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
