Picsart is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join Picsart’s API & Enterprise team. This position will be a key contributor to building our AI powered API services and offers candidates the chance to join an experienced team that is building the Enterprise product line within the company.

You will
- Build mission-critical applications that process ten thousand requests per second through a microservices architecture
- Develop APIs and integrations for large-scale applications for developer and enterprise clients
- Create high-quality code that is scalable, reliable and reusable
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including development, code reviews, testing, and production deployment
- Write unit/integration tests to ensure the high quality of the application
- Work with the Infrastructure team to build CI/CD pipelines
- Work closely with stakeholders PM’s and Researchers to deliver new features
- Mentor and review other engineers
About you
- 5+ years of Experience with Python
- Experience in building large-scale distributed systems
- Track record of implementing RESTful APIs, working with API Gateways
- Knowledge of design principles of high-performance scalable applications
- Track record of breaking down monolithic applications into microservices architecture
- Experience with container solutions like Docker and orchestration with Kuberenetes
- Experience with public cloud services like AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Knowledge of non-relational databases
- Experience with Flask
- Experience with Java & Spring framework
- Experience with document-oriented databases such as MongoDB
- Experience with key-value databases such as Redis
- Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka
