Social Finance Inc. seeks Software Engineer in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Build a cutting-edge technology platform supporting fraud, risk, and anti-money laundering solutions. Lead the development and testing of our systems and services. Implement new functionalities, architect the system, squash bugs and maintain the health of the code. Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product. Translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions. Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Support the technical culture and help grow the team. Communicate with project leads, product managers and other software developers. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java (1 year); (2) Spring (1 year); (3) Junit; (4) PostgreSQL; (5) React; (6) Kubernetes; (7) Docker; (8) POSIX; (9) JavaScript; and (10) TypeScript. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
