We are looking for a Supplier Relationship Analyst in our Galileo Mexico City office.
How you’ll create value:
Support Risk/Ops by providing subject matter expertise on supplier management activities, such as evaluations, negotiations, onboarding, performance management, purchase order management, and invoice receiving
Define and monitor supplier performance objectives and metrics. Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to address performance gaps ensuring alignment to contracted services and performance objectives, ultimately contributing to SoFi achieving its OKRs
Continually identify opportunities to improve supplier costs and services, and document current supplier capabilities and business requirements.
What you’ll do:
Develop and execute a supplier rationalization plan and strategy to optimize vendors, including quality, capacity, systems, and responsiveness.
Document current supplier capabilities, business requirements and overall performance while identifying cost savings and service improvement opportunities.
Facilitate new supplier evaluations and onboarding, partnering with procurement, legal, third-party risk, and information security.
Manage supplier spend and budget forecasting.
Intake and validate supplier invoices.
Coordinate with Risk/Ops team members to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
Create, maintain, and develop relationships with suppliers.
Research and resolve disputes with suppliers and participate in the development, tracking, and reporting of corrective action plans.
Conduct periodic supplier performance monitoring and onsite reviews.
Establish process improvements for supplier and SoFi interactions.
Participate/lead contract negotiations and terminations.
Provide reporting to various levels of executive and management forums.
Skills and experience desired:
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years related field and or relevant experience with vendor management / negotiations / account management;
Experience managing or leading projects / workstreams;
Experience working with multiple suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders;
Outstanding computer skills a must, specifically with spreadsheets, word processing, and databases, as well as solid business solutions software skills;
Experience navigating and interpreting complex procedures, policies, and agreements;
Strong team building, relationship management, and project management abilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
Robust business analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to easily manipulate and analyze a broad range of data;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders;
Able to multitask, nimble and highly functional within a team environment; and
0-25% travel required for supplier meetings and to conduct onsite reviews.
Bonus experience:
Proficient with SQL
Experience creating Tableau or PowerBI dashboards and reporting
Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM), or other relevant certification such as CTPE / CTPS
Solid understanding of the finance industry's regulatory requirements for the managing of third parties (FFIEC, Fed, CFPB, etc.)
