About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, Terraform, Argo Workflow, Argo CD, and Prometheus to join our dynamic Cloud Engineering team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure to support our rapidly growing platform. You will collaborate closely with our other engineers to ensure the stability, scalability, and efficiency of StreamNative Cloud platform.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable Kubernetes clusters using best practices.
- Develop and implement infrastructure automation using ArgoCD, ArgoWorkflow, Terraform, ensuring infrastructure as code principles are followed.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues using Prometheus and other monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance.
- Perform capacity planning and optimization to ensure efficient resource utilization across the infrastructure.
- Implement security best practices for infrastructure components and work closely with the security team to address vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver infrastructure projects on time.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in infrastructure engineering, and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely resolution to production incidents.
- Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoWorkflow, ArgoCD, and Prometheus
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
