As a Business Development Representative at StreamNative, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth by building and optimizing sales processes, identifying target prospects, setting up discovery calls, and creating opportunities to be worked and closed by our Account Executive team. We're looking for a tech-savvy professional with a knack for sales and a deep understanding of tech products.

What You'll Do

  • Master the technical aspects and value propositions of StreamNative and Pulsar products.
  • Use various systems for prospecting and sales tracking/enablement.
  • Organize systems to meet KPIs, including calls, emails, and InMails.
  • Build prospecting lists and sales cadences, continuously iterating and optimizing them based on feedback and data.
  • Maintain the highest standard of data hygiene in the company CRM
  • Set up regular discovery calls for Account Executives (AEs) and shadow these calls for learning and feedback.
  • Collaborate with AEs, your manager, and marketing teams to enhance messaging and deal creation.
  • Define key companies and personas to target in business development efforts.
  • Observe later-stage deal discussions to better understand the business value and refine outbound messaging.
  • Work with Marketing on creating content to accelerate deal creation.

About You

  • 2-4 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in a tech startup environment.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to learn and understand new technology quickly.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs and targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience using sales enablement and prospecting systems.
  • Proven ability to create and optimize sales cadences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
