Social Media Intern at DocSend

We’re looking for a diligent, growth-minded intern to develop DocSend’s social media voice, strategy, and following across such platforms as Twitter and LinkedIn. DocSend’s marketing team is responsible for spreading awareness, generating demand, and driving user engagement for one of today’s most exciting document sending platforms. Social media is nothing short of essential to each of these goals.

Please note: This is a paid internship.

What You'll Do:

    • Develop and shape DocSend’s social media strategy to drive awareness and growth
    • Increase DocSend Twitter, and LinkedIn followers
    • Own short-form content writing for social media posts, create and maintain a social media calendar, post and cross-post compelling articles, source or creating visuals and graphic imagery
    • Schedule content for such social platforms as LinkedIn, and Twitter
    • Copyedit and proofread short-form and long-form content prior to release date
    • Compile and organize data on social media engagement and performance, as well as create clear and concise reports and presentations
    • Participate in campaign brainstorm and content development initiatives as needed
    • Other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned

What You'll Need to be Successful:

    • Excellent writer, sharp editor, and proud grammarian!
    • Must have a good understanding of how these social platforms work and must be an active user of social media platforms
    • Must have a working knowledge of either Canva or Adobe InDesign or Photoshop
    • Knowledge of TweetDeck and Hootsuite or Buffer is a plus.
    • Positive attitude and a team player. Proactive, critical thinker with a strong work ethic


    • Currently enrolled in a four-year university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, English, or related discipline.
    • Rising juniors or rising seniors are preferred.
