The Sr. Analyst, Immigration reporting to the Vice President of HR, is a key position responsible for executing our US immigration strategy to enable hiring and support employee engagement for our growing company.  The ideal candidate is passionate about all things immigration and is motivated by the opportunity to partner with our outside counsel and immigration partners, execute the immigration programs strategic vision, and drive operational excellence. In this role, you will use both your hands-on immigration knowledge and customer service experience, to support our candidates and employees.  Ideally you have experience working in fast growing companies. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Acts as the primary resource for candidates and employees on all aspects of immigration and internal mobility, including visa and green card processes and regulatory requirements/ changesInitiate immigration and relocation cases with external vendors
    • Provide in-depth guidance with analysis of US immigration matters, identification of process and policy gaps, and drafting of policy/process revisions
    • Maintain and monitor all active immigration cases, gather updated immigration support documents, research and escalate issues
    • Design and develop immigration resources for internal partners and employees to include: FAQs, policies, and process documentsAct as a strategic advisor to cross-functional stakeholders providing immigration subject matter expertise on an employee and company-wide level
    • Maximize support from external partners for relocation and immigration subject matter expertise and program administration
    • Deliver comprehensive, hands-on support to business partners, talent acquisition, people managers and employees 
    • Lead various internal reviews or audits of immigration data, processes and policies
    • Expected to take on additional HR generalist responsibilities as needed to meet the Company’s  growth needs

Professional Experience / Background To Be Successful In This Role:

    • 3+ years of immigration specialization experience with strong knowledge of non-immigrant and immigrant visa processes and green card processing
    • Expertise in various visa types, processes and experience reviewing case facts to determine the optimal filing type
    • Project management experience across multiple disciplines and stakeholders Proven ability to influence decisions and articulate complex concepts
    • Solid experience interpreting immigration law and policy and analyzing impact to employee population and the business
    • Demonstrated experience exercising independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action
    • Ability to deliver high level of customer service to our employees
    • General knowledge of other HR related topics, including, but not limited to benefits and LOA administration
    • Experience in immigration vendor management
    • Experience with Envoy preferredStrong experience with using Google suite of products (excel, ppt).  

Expected Outcomes in 3 months:

    • Review all open immigration cases and ensure all are up to date with our immigration partner
    • Review and provide guidance on Company’s immigration strategy
    • Build relationships with HR team and key stake holders
