Mission: The Sales Ops Business Analyst reporting to the Manager of Sales Operations, will support our growing multi channel sales and operations team. You will work with cross functional business leaders to understand their processes and identify their data needs.  This includes managing and expanding current data analytics with a focus on driving process improvements and additional revenue. You will be responsible for but not limited to: performing sales reporting and analytics to provide key insights to sales management, building custom reporting infrastructure using disparate sets of data and overall owner of sales analytics. This role will play an integral part in helping the Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams drive revenue growth at Bill.com.  

Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field required
    • 3-5 years of supporting a multi-channel SaaS organization in an analytical capacity
    • Strong knowledge of and experience with analytics platforms (Tableau, Domo, etc), databases (BigQuery, Hyperion, etc), related languages (SQL, XML, etc), and Salesforce.com
    • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
    • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
    • Ability to work from our Palo Alto Headquarters full time

Expected Outcomes:

    • Within 30 days of employment:
    • Complete the Bill.com Guru Certification (product training)
    • Understand the basics of Bill.com’s Salesforce instance in order to accurately pull sales data
    • Begin learning the sales team’s key performance indicators and understand how these KPIs contribute to overall team numbers.
    • Learn the essentials of Bill.com’s go-to-market strategy in order to fully understand our business model and value proposition
    • Within 60 days of employment:
    • Take over ownership of all aspects of Sales KPIs including, daily, weekly and monthly distribution of reports
    • Be able to navigate Salesforce.com, Tableau, BigQuery and Bill.com’s native reporting servers  
    • Understand and improve on ability to execute detailed sales reporting in SFDC/Microsoft Excel that is presented to sales management and executives and why each metric is critical to the business.
    • Within 90 days of employment:
    •  Roll out new reporting cadence that aligns with sales needs in order to help the organization grow at scale
    •  Begin performing ad hoc analysis requested by the sales management team and provide insights based on those reports.
