Mission:
The Accounting Manager is a key member of the Bill.com Finance team, and will play a critical role in helping Bill.com develop and maintain a world class finance function.
 
We’re looking for someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved, someone who’s excited to work in a rapidly growing and changing environment, and someone who can challenge the status quo and help design and build better ways of working.  The successful candidate will have helped companies scale in the past, will have both public and industry experience, and will understand what best practice financial controls and processes look like.
 
This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of a team where you can use your exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong cross-functional relationships and own critical parts of the accounting function for Bill.com.

Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 7-10 years of experience
    • CPA or equivalent designation strongly preferred
    • Mix of Public Accounting and Industry experience
    • Public company experience preferred
    • Demonstrable experience in designing and maintaining effective processes and controls
    • Proven ability to lead an efficient month and year end close process with minimal supervision
    • Excellent interpersonal skills – proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organization 

Competencies (Attributes needed to be successful in this role):

    • Demonstrated ability to help lead a strong monthly and yearly close – including solid experience working with auditors
    • A true team player who is willing and able to get involved and help out where needed
    • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
    • NetSuite & Bill.com experience preferred
