Business Development Manager, Americas at DerbySoft

Develop a customer base for DerbySoft’s Marketing Services in the Americas region focusing on small to midsized hotel groups, representation companies, branded chains, OTAs and digital marketing agencies. The ideal candidate will have established business relationships, but this is not essential for an ambitious self starter ready to win business with a market leading software platform.

Key Responsibilities and Duties


  • Sell the evolving Marketing Services product portfolio by creating and maintaining leads and target lists for potential new customers
  • Identify business opportunities across the digital marketing and hospitality sector and assess their commercial merit for further consideration
  • Prepare, negotiate, and execute commercial contracts in a professional and expedient manner
  • Facilitate the development of strong commercial and personal relationships between the customer at all levels of their business in order to generate new revenue opportunities
  • Work and coordinate closely with a team of Finance, Legal, Performance and Global Operations colleagues throughout the sales process for a smooth end-to-end contracting and implementation cycle for customers
  • Assist in developing the Click Marketing Services product offering by translating customer needs into revenue opportunities


Experience and Skills


  • University/College Degree and a minimum of 5 years work experience in digital marketing, travel and/or hospitality
  • Background in and understanding of digital marketing. Knowledge of travel/hospitality distribution is also desirable
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, 2nd language skills in French, German or Spanish is an asset

  • DerbySoft at trade shows, industry events and customer conferences
