PicsArt is seeking a Strategy Associate to join our strategy team. This role is based in San Francisco and will work across teams to accelerate PicsArt’s growth and report into the SVP of Strategy and Operations. The individual’s scope of work will span both strategy and execution. Responsibilities - Strategy

Shaping company strategy

Monitoring industry trends

Creating (brief) documentation to summarize findings and/or recommendations

Acting as a conduit of both internal and external information to drive change

Working with international General Managers to influence their strategy and execution

Identifying new markets, both internationally and adjacent businesses, for expansion

Responsibilities - Partnerships

Working with Director and Head of Partnerships to identify, vet, and execute partnerships in line with company strategy

Researching companies and industries of interest to PicsArt's BD business to determine growth and monetization potential

Responsibilities - M&A

Identifying and sourcing potential acquisition targets

Diligencing and executing deals (e.g., business, operational, financial, legal)

Ensuring successful integration and monitoring of deal, post close

Responsibilities - Analytics, Operations & Special Projects

Tracking metrics and measures the organization requires to track success

Providing thought partnership to teams as necessary around a multitude of topics

Assisting in the creation of Board of Director and Investor materials

Partnering cross functionally to conduct tests that inform growth opportunities

Setting up systems to collect and disseminate knowledge across the organization


Ideally, 3+ years experience in investment banking, equity research, management consulting, corporate development, and/or investing (e.g., venture capital, private equity, long/short funds)

Ability to utilize quantitative and qualitative information to cogently articulate arguments

Experience with deal structuring, diligence, financial modeling and analysis, legal documentation

Excellent communicator, multi-tasker, project manager 

Experience working in globally distributed, mid-to late-stage start-up environments preferred 

Experience in consumer tech/mobile app space a plus.
